Benefits

Decorative concrete will always be more appealing than regular gray concrete. With the wide selection of choices between colors and stamps the whole process is very customizable. Regular gray concrete, under optimal conditions, can last anywhere from 5 to15 years. Stamped concrete, under most optimal conditions, can last anywhere from 20 to 25 years.

What is Stamped Concrete?

Stamp work is the process where the surface concrete gets molded into a wide variety of textures and shapes. Stamped concrete takes a little more labor to finalize and requires reinforcement throughout the concrete. Stamped concrete will have a secondary release color. It is a powder sprinkled on top to prevent the stamps from sticking and enhances the color of the concrete. If you look at some stamped concrete, the release color is the sections that look shaded. Price is dependent on the style of stamp and release color.
