Colorado Flatwork, Inc. Gentlemen,
On September 15, 2003, Mr. Bill Rasmus promptly performed the layout work for a concrete drainage-pan to be poured for The Colorado House & Resource Center prior to paving the facilities parking lot. Bill’s professional “can-do” attitude, experience, and problem solving skills took a site with marginal slope containing various swales and “bird baths” and created a tight string-line slope (line and grade), allowing for the match to future pavement overlay.
The crew that performed the saw-cut, removal of existing asphalt, and form setting were very efficient and followed the required directions carefully to perfection. The following crew who were responsible for the pour, final grade skreeding, control joints, and finish performed as artists in their craft. The overall site protection including the Utility One-Call Before You Dig to the traffic control was timely and effective. All crews were organized as evidenced by their tool management, materials handling, and site cleanup.
This wonderful responsiveness was and is greatly appreciated by a collaborative team comprised of the American Red Cross, Partners in Housing, and The Rocky Mountain Community Land Trust currently putting this facility into operation.
In Appreciation,
Gary Rombeck
